FAQ:
Q: What paperwork is needed for tryouts?
A: All students are required to have an valid OHSAA sports physical and completed Final Forms account to participate in any practice, tryout and/or game. Create your account HERE! Be sure to add RBC baseball to your account profile so you receive communication from Coach Tarlton.
Q: Can my son take part in both his travel league team and play for the RBC Baseball Team?
A: Unfortunately, OHSAA policy states that a student-athlete cannot compete both for a travel league and a school team. Once the RBC Season is over, your son may begin to practice and play with his travel team.
Q:We are interested in buying our son a new bat. What are the requirements for Middle School Baseball.
A:The bat restrictions are the same as they are in high school. The bat must have a stamp which explicitly states "BBCOR Certified". This will ensure that the bat is "Drop 3", meaning the length cannot be more than three inches longer than the weight. For example, a 33 inch bat cannot weigh less than 30 ounces or a 32 inch bat cannot weigh less than 29 ounces.
Q: What are the dimensions of the field in Middle School Baseball?
A: Standard high school dimensions. We play on fields with 90 foot base paths and a pitching distance of 60 feet 6 inches.
