The Purple Star Award, designated by the Ohio Department of Education, is given to military-friendly schools  that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military.

 

The Twinsburg City School District is proud to announce that the following schools have been awarded the Purple Star Award by the State of Ohio:

A military support liaison is the point of contact between military families and their child's school. The liaison completes staff professional development on special considerations for military students and families under federal law.  They also identify and inform teachers of the military-connected students in their classrooms.
