The Powerful Painters Awards!
Every 4th-6th classroom at Dodge has the opportunity to win the Golden Paint Brush Award every 9 weeks.
How can I win the Powerful Painters Award?
The Powerful Painters Award is a large, rainbow " wooden paddle" paintbrush that will be passed on to one homeroom teacher per grade as an incentive towards great classroom behavior. As a class, students will be rated every day in art class on a scale of 3 points. Students will also be rewarded for individual behavior with candy and golden tickets. The class that has the most points by the end of the 9 week period will be the winners of the Powerful Painters Award. There will be one winner per grade level.
To earn 3 points, I'm looking for students to work towards the following things...
1) Attitude
- Students should be creating with kindess and respect towards peers, teachers, and art materials.
2) Work Habits
- Students should be on task and focused on their artwork throughout studio time.
3) Responsibility
- Students are responsible to complete assignments on time, follow instructions, and clean up any messes.
