December Dodge Chatterbooks was fun and messy! The students enjoyed the graphic novel, Aquanauts, but overall they expressed that it was too quick and they missed reading something with more details.
The book for the January Dodge Chatterbooks is The One and Only Ruby by Katherine Applegate. This book is the third book in the series The One and Only Ivan and it picks up after The One and Only Bob, however, you do not need to have read the first two books to understand The One and Only Ruby.
The January meeting will be Thursday, January 25th.
To register your child for the January Dodge Chatterbooks, registration is the same as December.
How to register for the January Dodge Chatterbooks on Thursday, January 25th directly following dismissal in the Dodge library:

Click REGISTRATION FORM and fill out and submit the form.
Registration will be open until the end of day Friday, January 12th.
Once registration is closed, if we have more than fifty students registered, students who have not participated in Dodge Chatterbooks this school-year will have priority. From there students will be chosen randomly.
Monday, January 15th parents/caregivers will be notified whether their child is registered for the next Dodge Chatterooks meeting or on the waitlist.
The next Dodge Chatterbooks meeting is Thursday, January 25th at the Dodge library. The Dodge Chatterbooks meeting takes place directly after dismissal.
Requirements to attend the December Dodge Chatterbooks meeting is:
Register
Be one of the fifty students selected to attend
Read the book prior to attending the Dodge Chatterbooks meeting
Have a ride home from Dodge at 3:30 on Thursday, January 25th
