Each year, the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation seeks nominations for their annual awards. Awards are for “public school elementary or secondary classroom teachers who have earned the respect of students and colleagues, remain intellectually alive, demonstrate leadership in their field, and serve as a model of excellence for the teaching profession.”

Jodie Coseno, RB Chamberlin Middle School – 2024 George G. Chapman, Jr. Teacher Award for Excellence in Mathematics Education

Sophie Engler, Samuel Bissell Elementary School – 2024 Master Teacher Award

Carla Haas & Rebecca Widener, George G. Dodge Intermediate School – 2024 George B. Milbourn Award for Excellence in Team Teaching
