Twinsburg City Schools is shining a spotlight on the achievements of its alumni through a new feature called "Alumni Spotlight." This feature is a way for the school district to honor and recognize the accomplishments of its former students.
For our first spotlight, we celebrate teacher Elana Paige Felber, a member of the Class of 2018. Felber has always known that she wanted to be a teacher and her love for teaching began at a young age. She recalls walking into Wilcox Primary School for her first day of kindergarten and realizing that she wanted to become a teacher. As a senior at Twinsburg High School, Felber enrolled in Cuyahoga Valley Career Center’s Teaching Professions program. This opportunity allowed her to grow her interest in teaching and solidify her decision to pursue it as a career.
After graduating from high school, Felber attended Bowling Green State University. Her college experience helped her to further develop her passion for teaching, and she is now proud to be a first-year preschool intervention specialist at Brunswick City Schools.
Felber's dedication to her profession is evident in how she talks about her work. She explains, “I have met many amazing coworkers and families, and my students have challenged and helped me to grow as a teacher. My passion for teaching is reflected in the joy I feel when I see my students learning and growing.”
Twinsburg City School District is proud to honor its alumni and celebrate their achievements. Elana Paige Felber is a shining example of the hard work, dedication, and passion required to succeed in the teaching profession. Her story is an inspiration to all those who aspire to become teachers and make a difference in the lives of their students.
