TCSD Meal Drop Program (for qualifying students)
With our students returning to our On-Campus Option beginning next Tuesday, January 19, 2021, we want to remind our parents that the Twinsburg City School District will make breakfast and lunches available for all enrolled students, including students enrolled in the Twinsburg Virtual Academy, at no charge, through the Summer Seamless Option Program.  Funds for this program are compliments of the Federal USDA's CARES Act funding.  Participation in this Summer Seamless Option Meal Program will be through May 28th, 2021.  Here are the ways to participate:
Free Meals available to On Campus Students.  This year due to COVID-19, in order to keep student contact to a minimum, Twinsburg Food Service will deliver breakfast and lunch to the classroom each day.  Each school will have two breakfast and lunch options daily.  Breakfast A and Lunch A options will always be served in a brightly colored graphic lunch bag.  Breakfast B and Lunch B options will always be served in a plain white lunch bag. Meal counts will be taken each morning for each day's meal service.
Because of the young age of all of our Wilcox students, all Wilcox parents will be directed by their child’s teacher as to how they can take advantage of our special parent rsvp meal ordering system created to help parents select student meal purchases weekly.  Parents may do so by clicking on this KG RSVP weekly ordering link: https://forms.gle/qRt1s3VthWaDqH1F9
or the 1st Grade RSVP weekly ordering link: https://forms.gle/gDwCVQVHRv54YG1X6
Meals will also be made available to families of our Twinsburg Virtual Academy students.  With our Virtual Meal Plan, students will be offered a 3-day or 5-day meal package of breakfasts and lunches.  These foods will be different then our on campus offerings to allow us to safely hold and transport these meals.  Ingredient labels and cooking instructions will be included in each package. Spring Semester Virtual Meals will be distributed on Wednesdays out of George G. Dodge Intermediate School as well as delivered to three (3) sites.  This is a one time sign up.  Parents can click on this link: https://forms.gle/VeYxf99e13oM4psw9
If you have questions about any of our programs, please feel free to reach out to our Food Services Supervisor/District Dietitian, Mark Bindus,RD,LD at [email protected]
