Superintendent
Dear Twinsburg City School District Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I hope you and your family had a restful and enjoyable summer. As the new school year approaches, I am honored to serve as the Interim Superintendent of the Twinsburg City School District. It is a privilege to partner with such a dedicated team of educators, staff, families, and community members in support of our students’ success.
We are excited to welcome our students back to school, beginning with our Soft Reopening Days. These days are designed to ease the transition into the school year by allowing students to reconnect with their learning environments and build relationships with staff and peers.
For Preschool students: Parents/guardians will receive a QR code in their welcome back letter from Mrs. Turner. Parents will use the QR code to register for a thirty (30) minute meeting with their teacher. Preschool students are to attend this meeting with their parent/guardian.
For students in Kindergarten through Grade 6:
Monday, August 18th: Students with last names beginning with A through G
Tuesday, August 19th: Students with last names beginning with H through P
Wednesday, August 20th: Students with last names beginning with Q through Z
For RB Chamberlin Middle School students:
Monday, August 18th: Students with last names beginning A through L
Tuesday, August 19th: Students with last names beginning M through Z
Wednesday, August 20th: All RBC students report for school
For Twinsburg High School students:
Monday, August 18th: Only students in 9th grade report for school
Tuesday, August 19th: All students, grades 9-12 report (Blue Day)
Wednesday, August 20th: All students, grades 9-12 report (White Day)
Your child’s Soft Reopening Day is considered a school day and attendance will be taken.
Over the summer, we welcomed several new staff members across the district who bring energy, expertise, and a shared commitment to excellence. We look forward to the positive impact they will have in our classrooms and buildings.
Please see the attached back to school checklist with a variety of links to tools and resources you will need to start the school year.
To ensure a smooth start to the school year, please remember to complete all necessary forms in Final Forms as soon as possible. This platform allows us to maintain accurate student records, health information, and emergency contacts—vital for the safety and well-being of all students.
For families with student-athletes, our fall athletic schedules are now available. We encourage you to support our Tigers and attend a game or match! Schedules can be found on the Athletics section of our website, which is also a great source for the most up-to-date news, calendars, and district announcements.
Transportation information will be sent electronically to you the week of August 11, 2025.
As we begin the year, ParentSquare remains our primary communication tool. Please ensure your contact information is up to date in Final Forms so you receive timely messages from your child’s school and the district. Whether it’s school updates, reminders, or emergency notifications, ParentSquare helps keep our school community connected. You will be receiving specific building communication from your Building Administrator soon.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we will make this school year one filled with growth, opportunity, and achievement for every student.
Wishing you and your family a fantastic start to the 2025–2026 school year!
Warm regards,
Steve Marlow, Superintendent
Twinsburg City School District
