Superintendent
WELCOME BACK, TIGER NATION!
Dear Twinsburg City School District Families, Staff, Students, Residents, Alumni, and Community Partners. It is with great excitement, gratitude, and humility that I welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year as the new Superintendent of the Twinsburg City School District.
From my earliest conversations with members of this community, it became clear that Twinsburg is a special place. This district has earned a reputation for academic excellence, dedicated educators, supportive families, outstanding students, and a community that deeply values public education. I am honored to join a district with such a strong tradition of excellence and am committed to building upon the outstanding work that has already been accomplished.
Throughout my 33-year career in public education, I have had the privilege of serving students and families as a teacher, coach, principal, district administrator, and regional superintendent. My professional journey has included leadership roles in Alliance, Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Cleveland Heights-University Heights, and most recently Columbus City Schools, where I served as a Regional Superintendent overseeing 19 schools and approximately 6,500 students. While I am proud of my professional experiences, what matters most is my commitment to serving students and working alongside families and community members to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
MY FIRST PRIORITY: LISTEN AND LEARN
As I begin my tenure in Twinsburg, my primary focus during the first several months will be listening and learning. I believe the people who know this district best are the students, staff members, families, residents, business leaders, alumni, and community partners who have invested their time, energy, and passion into making Twinsburg City Schools exceptional.
Over the coming months, I will be meeting with stakeholder groups throughout our community to better understand:
- What makes Twinsburg City Schools exceptional
- What opportunities exist for future growth
- What challenges we must address together
- What priorities should guide our strategic direction
OUR SHARED COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
Like many school districts across Ohio, Twinsburg faces both opportunities and challenges as we work to maintain excellence, meet the evolving needs of students, and responsibly manage public resources. One of my commitments to this community is to lead with transparency, credibility, accountability, and open communication. Every decision we make should be centered on what is best for students while ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars. While there may be differing opinions about how best to move forward, I firmly believe we all share the same goal: providing exceptional opportunities and experiences for every Twinsburg student. My leadership philosophy is grounded in the TRIO Model—Families, Schools, and Communities working together in partnership to support student success.
