Message from the Principal

Welcome Samuel Bissell Elementary School Families! We are super excited to serve you and your children over the next few years. At Samuel Bissell Elementary School, our young Tigers will be supported, loved, encouraged, and challenged each day. We strive everyday to ensure your children are receiving the BEST education possible in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe in and recite our mission statement each day, “Every day we show respect to our school and one another. Through hard work and organization, we strive to reach our goals. We celebrate our achievements and take responsibility for our actions and our learning.” 

We start with a positive attitude and we show GRIT (G=Give it your all, R=Respond with a positive attitude, I=Independent Thinker, T=Totally Engaged) in all we do! We give our Tigers the building blocks and tools to learn and grow as we R.O.A.R (Respect, Organization, Achievements and Responsibility) through our motto. We believe it takes all of us to make success happen, so we welcome you to our team!
