RB Chamberlin Middle School is being recognized for their success with Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS involves teaching students expected behaviors in positive ways using methods such as modeling and acknowledgment of those behaviors.

An effective school-wide PBIS is shown to improve student achievement, student behavior, and school climate. The PBIS Network recognizes and highlights schools who are model examples of strong PBIS.

Once again this year, RB Chamberlin School will be honored for their Ohio PBIS Sliver Recognition Award at the 2020 Ohio PBIS Showcase in conjunction with the Ohio Leadership Advisory Council (OLAC) virtual conference on December 15, 2020.

The PBIS Committee at RBC is composed of several tiers and they meet several times each month. The committee is currently implementing more Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports for the students on-campus and for the students in the Twinsburg Virtual Academy.  Students will be receiving virtual badges to recognize good choice-making in the areas of respect, responsibility and right choices.

Way to go, RBC!  We are very Tiger Proud!
