During the Board of Education Meeting on Wednesday, September 2nd, Mark Desmond our Transportation Supervisor presented an update from the Transportation Department.
This update included information about the new Z-Pass that each student who rides a school bus has attached to his/her clear backpack. Upon boarding the school bus, the student scans the Z-Pass, which instantly informs the bus driver of whether the student is on the correct bus.
The Z-Pass also alerts the driver if the student should exit the school bus at the wrong bus stop. This is another initiative to keep our students safe while harnessing the power of technology!
