The Twinsburg City School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Ryan Beaumont as the new Principal of RB Chamberlin Middle School during the regular Board meeting on April 16, 2025.
“Following a very extensive search which involved over sixty (60) parents, students, and staff members in the interview process as well as a site visit to our candidate’s present assignment, I am pleased to recommend Mr. Ryan Beaumont to our Twinsburg Board of Education as the next Principal at RB Chamberlin Middle School. Through this process, we learned that Mr. Beaumont is an exemplary instructional leader who is student-centered and focused on building positive relationships with parents, staff members, and students. We look forward to Mr. Beaumont building upon the excellence of RB Chamberlin Middle School and moving the school forward with much success,” said Superintendent Kathryn Powers.
Mr. Beaumont comes to the Twinsburg City School District after serving as an assistant principal at Harmon Middle School in the Aurora City School District for the past three years. He also held assistant principal positions at Shaker Heights Middle School (2017-2021) and Crofton Middle School in Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Maryland (2014-2017). His career in education began as a Science teacher in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Maryland, a role he held for five years.
Mr. Beaumont is a 2003 graduate of Twinsburg High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Ohio University in 2007 and his Master of Education degree in the area of School Improvement Leadership from Goucher College in 2014. Mr. Beaumont and his wife Katie, along with their children Ellison and Hudson, are residents of the City of Twinsburg. Ellison and Hudson are Dodge Tigers.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an assistant principal in both Aurora City Schools and Shaker Heights City Schools, and I bring with me a strong background in science education and school leadership from my time in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. I am thrilled to begin this journey with you and look forward to working together to support every student’s success.”
Mr. Beaumont begins his tenure as the new RBC Principal on August 1, 2025. Mr. Beaumont replaces Jim Ries who will retire after serving as Principal at RB Chamberlin Middle School since August 2014.
