We are excited to share a fun and creative project that recently took place at Samuel Bissell Elementary School. Art educator Mrs. Dana Castrigano invited a group of third graders who are also members of the Girl Scouts to her classroom to work on earning their Art & Design Badge.

During their visit, the girls learned a lot about color mixing by creating edible color wheels. Using white frosting, food coloring, and Nilla Wafers, they mixed primary colors to make vibrant secondary colors. It was a delicious and hands on way to understand color theory! The room was filled with laughter and creativity as the girls collaborated and enjoyed their tasty creations.

We are so Tiger Proud of their hard work and enthusiasm and we thank Mrs. Castrigano for being the perfect creative host for our Lady Tigers!
