Of the 1.6 million entrants in the National Merit Scholarship Program, some 50,000 with the highest PSAT/NMSQT® Selection Index scores (calculated by doubling the sum of the Reading, Writing and Language, and Math Test scores) qualify for recognition.
In September, these high scorers are notified through their schools that they have qualified as either a Commended Student or a Semi-Finalist.
Congratulations to Twinsburg High School Seniors Joshua Cola, Amy Dokiburra, and Katie Vasiliauskas who were notified this week that they are National Merit Semi-Finalists! Joshua is the son of Richard & Christine Cola of Reminderville, Amy is the daughter of Kishore & Anamika Dokiburra of Reminderville, and Katie is the daughter of Mark & Sue Vasiliauskas of Twinsburg.
Way to go, Joshua, Amy, and Katie! We are very Tiger Proud of you!
