On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the Twinsburg Board of Education met and as usual, celebrated outstanding staff members and students.

BOE President Mrs. Rhonda Crawford presented a special Proclamation to Twinsburg High School Orchestra Director Mr. Damon Conn and the Twinsburg High School Orchestra for achieving the rating of “Superior” at the Ohio Music Education Association’s State Orchestra Adjudicated Event. This is the 13th consecutive year that our musically talented Tigers, under the direction of Mr. Conn, with assistance from Mrs. Claire Jarmusik, have attained this prestigious honor.

The Board of Education was presented with a banner from Director Stephen Dackin of the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce for our Tigers earning the Overall 5-Star Award for the 2023/2024 Ohio School Report Card. In the letter received from Director Dackin, he wrote, “This remarkable accomplishment highlights your District’s commitment to advancing academic achievement and supporting students’ success.

Students of the Month from Wilcox Primary School, George G. Dodge Intermediate School, and Twinsburg High School were also recognized and honored at the Board of Education meeting on Wednesday.
