The Greater Cleveland Association of Black Journalists (GCLEABJ) awarded Twinsburg High School alum, Class of 2024 Aidan Booker, the Student Journalist of the Year award at its inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Cleveland History Center on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Aidan was one of three (3) student journalists in the student category. The other students were from John Carroll University and Kent State University. The finalists were nominated by faculty at their universities and journalists familiar with their work. Aidan is a freshman at the Barrett Honors College, majoring in journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University in Phoenix, AZ.

The Cleveland chapter is an affiliate of the National Association of Black Journalists. The NABJ will hold its National Conference and Career Fair in Cleveland this summer, August 6-10, 2025. We are very Tiger Proud of Aidan and we congratulate him upon his receipt of this prestigious honor.
