The Samuel Bissell Elementary PTA (2nd & 3rd Graders) would like to take this opportunity to announce our annual Read-a-Thon fundraiser.  

Our theme this year is ROAR INTO READING… as our children are learning the Samuel Bissell meaning of R.O.A.R., Respect, Organization, Achievement and Responsibility, we will help them make connections to these principles for their reading success! 

Roar into Reading began with a kickoff video on October 2nd.  Our fundraiser will run from October 3rd-October 12th. Our goal is to read 100,000 minutes and raise $10,000 to support our school! Funds raised will help the Bissell PTA fund COSI on wheels, Raz-Kids, Brain POP, Family Fun Night, teacher grants, school parties and so much more!  There are many opportunities to win prizes!  Thank you for supporting our young tigers as they establish a love for reading!
