General Education Classrooms at Wilcox

The Kindergarten Preparatory Program (KPP) and General Education classrooms are for students not enrolling in kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year. These classrooms are 5-half days a week with sessions in the morning or afternoon. Each class serves approximately 16 students and is housed at Wilcox Primary School with a lead teacher and classroom assistant. The classrooms use project-based learning strategies which encourages developmentally appropriate skills and prepares students for the expectations of tomorrow’s learners.

All classrooms will use the same curriculum, assessments, report cards, and technology. However, the teachers will use a project-based approach as the method in which students will learn the curriculum. A project-based approach encourages developmentally appropriate skills and prepares students for the expectations of tomorrow’s learners.

Selecting and enrolling strong typically developing peer models for the Integrated Preschool classrooms will continue to be the focus for the Twinsburg City School District. These openings will be filled first. The general education classrooms have an annual tuition is $2,350 (subject to change) and scholarship opportunities. General Education applications will be accepted through March 15 for the following school year. Scholarship opportunities based on financial need are available for families who qualify for the Kindergarten Preparatory Program (KPP) only. Please see the webpage for an application and additional information.
