This week at Wilcox Primary School, students participated in the Kids’ Heart Challenge. During Physical Education classes, students learned about ways to keep their heart, body and mind healthy.
Thanks to our Heartsville Heroes program, our Tigers were taught messages such as avoiding sugary drinks, drinking more water, watching out for hidden salt, being physically active, making your plate colorful and being you. Together our students raised $9,544.00 dollars for the American Heart Association. Wow! Way to go Wilcox Tigers!
