Congratulations to our Treasurer Marty Aho and the Treasurer’s Office Staff, John Frammartino, Donna Kelly, Amy Vargo and Sue Vasiliauskas who were recently notified that, once again, they are being honored with the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction!
The Auditor of State awards this designation to entities which file timely financial reports with the Auditor of State’s office on a GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) accounting basis and prepare a CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report).
The audit report for these entities cannot contain any findings for recovery, material citations, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, Unified Guidance (Single Audit) findings or questioned costs. Further, eligible entities cannot have other financial concerns.
