Wilcox Tigers Celebrate Kindness!
This week at Wilcox Primary School, our Tigers have been in the holiday spirit! Students have been learning with a holiday twist as well as recognizing kindness throughout the school. For example, the kindergartners in Mrs. Hanna's class had a fun filled day of math and literacy activities that were centered around “The Grinch”. They also discussed kindness which went along with our school-wide Kindness Week!

During our morning announcements, Wilcox School Counselor Mrs. Boutros sent a message about the importance of being kind and offered the students daily challenges.

To go along with service and kindness, Miss Miller's Kindergarten class collected items (e.g. toothpaste/brush, socks, soap, etc.) to put together Warm Wishes bags to donate to the homeless.

Also, our PTA coordinated a school-wide Birthday in a Bag activity where our Tigers listened to a story about the power of kindness and then put together birthday bags full of goodies (e.g. cake mix, frosting, toys, etc.) which will be donated to a local food pantry.  We are very Tiger Proud of our very kind Wilcox Tigers!
