The CLASS Act Scholars of Summit County is a program that combines the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) with coaching, mentoring and professional development for an exclusive group of early educators working in Summit County preschools.
Wilcox Primary School’s, Ms. Jenni Ferro, was selected as 1 of 20 preschool teachers from Summit County who made the commitment to further her own professional development by participating in the CLASS Act Scholars program.
This selective group of preschool teachers represents a wide range of preschool settings in Summit County. Ms. Ferro and the other CLASS Act Scholars graduated from the program at Greystone Hall in Akron on May 2, 2019.
