Each Break Box is filled with all kinds of sensory tools such as putty, weighted mats, sensory sack, bumpy gel cushion, and noise-cancelling headphones. While working in the classroom, our students were able to explore all the tools in the Break Box.
Then the boys and girls ranked which tools helped them feel ready to learn. They also discussed the importance of using these tools as tools and not toys. See if you can check out which tools our students are using in photos below.
