This week, we learned that two of our Twinsburg High School students, Makiyah Harris and Jaylon Hunt, are recipients of the Cleveland Clinic’s 2018/2019 eXpressions Art Awards!
Over 1,400 art, language and math projects from fifty-two (52) schools were submitted last month. An esteemed panel of art and science professionals used four criteria to evaluate each art submission: interpretation, presentation, creativity, and initiative. Award-winning pieces will be displayed in the 2019 eXpressions Art, Language, and Math eXhibition at the Great Lakes Science Center beginning on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.
Makiyah’s winning Art piece is entitled, Illuminate While You Wait and Jaylon’s winning Art piece is entitled, Smoke on the Outside. Congratulations to Makiyah and Jaylon and special thanks to their Art instructor Mrs. Sharon Misanko for her inspiration! Very Tiger Proud!
