Wilcox Preschool Explores Careers!
Wilcox's tiniest Tigers had a great time learning about different jobs during Preschool Career Week.
Officer Nicole from the Twinsburg Police Department shared with the students the role of a Police Officer. She highlighted the importance of keeping everyone safe and helping those in need. The students particularly enjoyed seeing all the "cool stuff" that police officers carry such as handcuffs, a flashlight, and a taser.

Another exciting visitor was Twinsburg's Mr. Bissell who brought his big dump truck and back-hoe. The students had the chance to see how the back-hoe works and how the dump truck dumps. Students loved seeing (and touching) the cool equipment and hearing the BIG horn! Students learned the many ways the dump truck and back-hoe is used on a farm or for construction.

The students also dressed in their career best and shared with their class what they were and the many exciting roles of each job. Students found similarities and differences between the careers. They also wrote about what they want to be when they grow up!
