Men congratulations on a brilliant high school effort. An overall record of 40-7-13 during four seasons of soccer is an impressive mark. Moreover being undefeated your senior year is an astounding accomplishment. Particularly when you look at whom you boys played against. You can be good at something, heck great at something and never be undefeated. Remember what Henry Ellis the 2nd Royal Governor of Georgia said (sorry I am a history teacher): “All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on.” So If I can give you a piece of advice, let go of any affronts you have accrued over the last four years. Instead hold on to the memories of the friendships and fun you have had with each other. Sometime in the future you will walk into our gym with your wife, children and hopefully one day grandchildren and say: “2012… that was my team. “ God bless and good luck in everything you do.
