TWINSBURG CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT 2011-2012 DISTRICT GOALS

FINANCIAL

With input from stakeholders, a comprehensive financial plan will be developed by December 31, 2011 that proposes a combination of expenditure reductions and revenue increases to maintain fiscal stability resulting in a balanced budget by FY2016.
 

CURRICULUM

Twinsburg City Schools will provide high academic standards for all students through the use of the district and school Continuous Improvement Plans in order to attain "Excellent with Distinction" status as measured by the 2011-2012 State of Ohio District Report Card.
 

TECHNOLOGY

During the 2011-2012 school year, students and staff will capitalize on the technology resources currently available in the Twinsburg City School District and integrate technology literacy into each new Course of Study as developed.
 

SAFETY & WELLNESS

By May 2012, complete an audit of our buildings' security and operations. Findings will be utilized to enhance a safe educational setting in which our staff and students teach, work and learn.
 

COMMUNICATION

To enact a communication plan by June 2012, which informs all stakeholders with a consistent and transparent message, in order to increase community awareness and participation in the Twinsburg City School District.
