(5/24) Juniors taking Honor's Humanities next year need to see Mr. Lally in L 210 for a letter with your summer reading assignment. YOU must pick it up by the end of the day today.

 

(5/23-5/5/24) Class of 2014: you have the chance to have your senior picture taken for the 2014 yearbook for free. Next year, all of the senior pictures for the yearbook will be taken by Venditti Photography in Bedford. You may still use a different photographer for your own prints or you may purchase a package from Venditti, but the photo for the yearbook must be taken by Venditti. Look for a letter in the mail in the next couple weeks that explains the changes and your opportunity to get your senior picture taken for the yearbook free of charge.

 

(5/23-5/24) Come support the Tiger Marching Band and show your appreciation for the veterans at the Memorial Day Parade on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Thank you for your support.

 

(5/23-5/24) There's a mandatory Yearbook meeting Tuesday in room A 216 at noon, right after exams, for all students accepted into the 2014 Yearbook staff. It should only take 15 minutes. Summer plans will be discussed. Please see Mr. Kirtley with any questions or concerns.

 

(5/23-5/24) There's a meeting today in the commons for returning boys and girls golfers. The summer calendar and important tryout dates for the fall will be handed out. 

 

(5/23-5/24) Attention freshmen who signed up to take AP US History next year: There will be a MANDATORY meeting on Wednesday, May 29th in the Auditorium after your last final for the day to discuss summer reading.  The meeting should be over by 12:40 so make your travel arrangements accordingly. (5/23-5/24) All books checked out from the THS Media Center are now considered overdue.  Please return them to the Media Center promptly.  Have a wonderful summer....and remember to relax and read!

(5/24) JUNIORS: You have the opportunity to participate in an invaluable Senior Experience next year. THS Senior Experience allows you, during the last two weeks of your senior year, the opportunity to experience a real-world work environment as you shadow a professional in your chosen field at a worksite outside the school setting. It enables you to see the necessary "soft skills", professionalism, and work ethics necessary in the workplace. Networking may lead to a summer job or future job references in your area of interest. You will be exempt from final exams and better prepared to make decisions regarding your future career. See Mrs. Houston in Room B206 or visit Senior Experience on the High School Website.

(5/23-5/5/24) Attention Class of 2014: you will have the chance to have your senior picture taken for the 2014 yearbook for free. Next year, all of the senior pictures for the yearbook section will be taken by Venditti Photography in Bedford. You may still use a different photographer for your own prints, but the photo for the yearbook will be taken by Venditti. Look for a letter in the mail in the next couple weeks that explains the changes and your opportunity to get your senior picture taken for the yearbook free of charge.

Whichever teacher gets the most money will kiss a llama for everyone to see on the announcements.

(5/6) The boys and girls track teams competed at the Optimist Meet Saturday in Youngstown.  The girls finished 7th of 32 teams and were led by the first place 4x100 relay of Lauren McKinley, Brianna Lawson, Jordan Laley and Taylor Ware and Lawson's runner up finish in the 200.

 

The boys finished 6th of 31 teams. Ryan Scanlon won the 800, Eric Moorer placed second in the high jump, and Garrett Crichlow placed third in the 1600 to lead the Tigers. Both teams are HOME this afternoon against Brunswick!

(5/1) The softball team beat Cuyahoga Falls 5-4 yesterday. Brittani Handel went 2-4 with a triple and 2 RBI's. Savanna Backo hit the game winning RBI single in the 6th inning.
