History
Samuel Bissell Elementary School opened its doors in 1964. The opening of Bissell was only four years after the opening of Wilcox Primary School and 6 years earlier than the opening of Dodge Intermediate School. When Bissell first opened its doors, it housed grades 3, 4, and 5. Now the school houses grades 2 and 3. Samuel Bissell Elementary School is named after one of the original families to move to Twinsburg. Bissell itself has almost doubled in size over the years. |

Student Council
Mrs. J. Haines - Advisor
We are excited about our Bissell Student Council this year. Each class conducts their own nomination and voting process. Nominations are based upon:
- responsibility
- academic performance
- attendance
- dependability
- cooperation
Our student council strives to make a difference in our school by performing tasks throughout the school, sponsoring fund raising events, planning spirit days and more. Check "What's New" and the Album from "Bissell Home" as well as Mrs. Haines's web page for updates and more information about Student Council activities.
