Latch Key is a before and after school hours child care program. Dodge Intermediate School has a successful program because of its cooperative, hard working staff. The morning and evening sessions have approximately 40 students in attendance each day. The morning sessions are from 6:30-7:30 a.m. and the evening session is from 2:40-6:30 p.m. These sessions are coordinated by four wonderful and energetic staff members.
The environment is highly structured and focuses on students completing classroom daily assignments along with receiving extra tutoring for proficiency test preparation. The students also interact positively with other peers through fun-filled activities.
